1) According to free agent SS Rafael Furcal’s agent, he’s looking for a $50 million contract over 5 or 6 years.

2) According to the Arizona Republic, the Mets, Phillies, Red Sox, Blue Jays, Tigers and Cardinals are expected to be go after Diamondbacks P Javier Vazquez.

3) According to the LA Daily News, the Dodgers are expected to make a preliminary offer to free agent LF Brian Giles this weekend.
