Question for you:  Andrew McCutcheon or Colby Rasmus?  Both short term and long term…  Of the young OF’ers mentioned which is the best long term bet?

McCutchen short term and maybe long term…the SB potential is solid. I see 30+ in 2010. Rasmus will deliver more power over the LT, but McCutchen should give the power/speed combo. I see 20-20 from McCutchen in the next year or two.

Matt-

If you were going to take one, would you go for Buster Posey or Desmond Jennings in a keeper league that is the normal 5 cats plus 2b, 3b, OBP, and SLG?

Nobody’s “blocking” Logan Morrison - he’s getting a shot at the Opening Day job and seems likely to push his way into the lineup sooner rather than later even if he does start off in the minors.

An injury in the Tigers outfield could open a window for Wilkin Ramirez, who could be an interesting power/speed option.  Ryan Strieby could get some DH looks in Detroit, too.

Carlos Carrasco will get a healthy amount of innings in Cleveland, and if he can manage to avoid the big inning, he could be a decent source of Ks.

And I give Craig Kimbrell an outside shot of picking up some late season saves in Atlanta if they’re out of contention and/or Wagner has been dealt.

I’m also unsure how Alderson gets mentioned noting he will be playing for the Pirates and will hurt you in strikeouts.  As unsexy as he is, I would rather invest in Leblanc than Alderson for ‘10.
