1) Astros owner Drayton McLane has acknowledged that the team has had trade talks, regarding Roger Clemens, with both the Yankees and Redsox, but denies the rumors of a possible deal with the Rangers.

3) According to the Minneapolis Star Tribune, the Twins have had trade talks regarding Phillies 2B Placido Polanco, but aren’t interested in including Scott Baker, Francisco Liriano or Jesse Crain in a deal.
