There's no timetable for his return and he's hoping it's this season. After 26 RCAA/.870 OPS and 5 RCAA/.842 OPS seasons, Garciaparra had a .176 SLG, .228 OBA, .405 OPS, -7 RCAA in 14 games before being injured. He has a .912 career OPS, compared to his league average of .773, and 241 RCAA in 1023 games. 2) On Saturday, Earl Wilson died at the age of 70. Wilson had a 3.69 career ERA, compared to his league average of 3.52, and -1 RSAA in 338 games with the 1959-66 Redsox, 1966-70 Tigers and 1970 Padres. 3) The Giants sent P Jerome Williams to the minors and called up P Al Levine.
