1) Tigers P Ugueth Urbina's mother was kidnapped in Venezuela. Urbina left the team to join his family.
After 3.00 ERA/9 RSAA and 2.81 ERA/15 RSAA seasons, Urbina is off to a 4.50 ERA/0 RSAA start in his first 54 games. He has a 3.42 career ERA, compared to his league average of 4.37, and 68 RSAA in 502 games.

10) Redsox DH David Ortiz was out of yesterday's lineup, due to a sore right shoulder. If it doesn't improve, he may have a MRI today.
