I agree with most of these players having solid 2nd half’s, but I think you’ll have a tough time getting a “bargain” for Nolasco after his 53-8 K/BB in June + July. Rollins .500 OBP% in July with 6 steals doesn’t scream sell for his owners either. Posted 07/13 at 12:47 PM

Agreed Josh, but I would assume many leagues have Nolasco owners who would look at Nolasco and still be dissapointed and willing to deal. The 7ER in his last start before the break ight help too. Many owners still don’t trust to look at numbers like K/BB and would think he was just a fluke in 2008. Rollins might be to late to get the great bargain, but still a solid buy even if you have to pay a bit more than a week or two ago. Posted 07/13 at 12:53 PM

Come on, Nolasco has a 2.7 ERA /1.00 WHIP in 47 innings since coming back up from the minors to start June. What makes you think his owners aren’t aware of how good he’s been, and are only looking at his overall numbers? It’s way too late—no way you’re getting him for a spare closer (Valverde?) or a low-end OF in any decent league. Posted 07/14 at 10:43 PM
