Dan Foxby Dave StudemanApril 17, 2008 Another former THT writer, Dan Fox, has been hired by the Pittsburgh Pirates to be their Director of Baseball Systems Development. Dan has written for Baseball Prospectus the last two years, but he contributed to THT for a year before that, so we take a little bit of pride in Dan's success. By my count, that makes at least five one-time regular THT writers who have worked for major league teams. Dave was called a "national treasure" by Rob Neyer. Seriously.
