THT Daily: 5 Weeks To Goby Matthew CarruthFebruary 25, 2008 Sox Nab Colon - No, not the White Sox, but the Red Sox and only a minor league deal with zero guaranteed money. It's a far cry from anything anyone would have guessed at the start of the winter, even with Bartolo Colon's injury plagued 2006 and 07 campaigns. It would seem the rumors of Colon's shoulder being a mess are likely true given the non-existent interest from any other team once they got past the flirty-eyes-across-the-room stage. Bay-ree Bonds? - Rays Carl Crawford and B.J. Upton wouldn't mind seeing Barry Bonds join them in Tampa. To be honest, I agree with Pinto here, it's a good idea and could really make Tampa a factor in the AL East. First Impression - The Mets and Citi unveiled the logo for the new stadium. It looks rather... corporate. And bland. If Nobody's Watching - The Marlins are trying to form an all-overweight-male cheerleading squad. Florida Baseball: Come for the no-name rookies, stay for the dancing fat men! James on Biggio - An extract from Bill James 2008 Gold Mine about Craig Biggio. One Game at a Time - All I care about is helping the team, I don't listen to the media reports, they don't know what goes on here inside the THT clubhouse.
