Kendry Morales capped an 8-1 Angels' comeback with a walk-off RBI single in the bottom of the ninth inning to beat the Mariners 9-8 on Sunday.
The Angels scored four in the sixth and one in the seventh to make it an 8-6 game. Mariner closer David Aardsma then clearly didn't have his command in the ninth, walking four, one intentionally, and allowing one hit. That brought Morales to the palte with the bases loaded and two outs when he hit a 2-2 pitch to left for the game-winner.

Adrian Gonzalez becamse the first big leaguer to reach 20 homers on the season when he took Rockies starter Jorge de la Rosa deep for a three-run shot on Sunday.
Gonzalez also walked and singled in the contest. Gonzalez hit nine homers in April and 11 in May, so it's not as if he's on a short homer binge. He may well continue to hit this well and clear 40 homers for the first time.

Josh Hamilton will see a specialist and undergo an MRI in an effort to diagnose his abdominal/groin problems.
The hope is that the test will rule out a hernia. "We'll know in the next couple of days," Hamilton said. "Right now I'm hurt and sore and can't run." If Hamilton has to return to the DL, Andruw Jones, David Murphy and Hank Blalock would receive additional at-bats.

Hot-hitting Melky Cabrera will serve off the bench Sunday, manager Joe Girardi reported.
Cabrera is hoping to be back in the lineup Monday but Girardi wants to make sure he is ready to return, so he plans on not using Melky Sunday.

Indians placed outfielder Grady Sizemore on the 15-day disabled list with left elbow inflammation.
Sizemore has been ineffective offensively this month while frequently being limited to designated hitter duties because of his elbow injury, so the Indians finally decided to shut him down. Travis Hafner is set to come off the DL at some point next week, so he'll resume starting at DH while Ben Francisco continues manning center field in Sizemore's place.

The Tigers, Giants and Red Sox have all scouted and/or discussed the possibility of acquiring Corey Hart, reports the Boston Globe's Nick Cafardo.
The Giants and Red Sox both have pitching to give, with the Brewers needing a starting pitcher. Hart got off to a slow start on the year, but a couple recent strong games have pushed him to .256/.330/.415 on the season. He makes a lot of sense for the Giants. If the Brewers were to deal Hart, either Jody Gerut or Frank Catalanotto would likely start.
