Ryan Zimmerman hit a grand slam with two outs in the bottom of the ninth to give the Nationals a 7-3 win over the Marlins on Saturday.
One of the most exciting moments in Nationals history and approximately four people were there to witness it. Rain delays in the fifth and ninth innings totaling more than three hours completely cleared out the ballpark before the Nationals staged their comeback and won for the 11th time this season. Zimmerman only has two homers this year, but both have been grand slams. This was a little better than the one he hit on April 22, as the Nationals were down by 10 in the ninth in that game.

Roy Oswalt became the NL's first six-game winner by allowing three runs in six innings Saturday versus the Diamondbacks.
Oswalt wasn't at his best, giving up a season-high eight hits. The Astros, though, provided him with 10 runs of support, allowing him to cruise after a few shaky innings at the start. Oswalt is now 6-0 in seven career starts versus the Diamondbacks.

Phillies placed first baseman Ryan Howard on the 15-day disabled list, retroactive to May 10, with a left quadriceps strain.
After using him as a pinch-hitter twice in the last six days? That's just not the right way to do it. The Phillies are hoping the two weeks off will allow him to return at 100 percent. That probably won't happen, but maybe he'll be 95 percent, rather than 80. Greg Dobbs will likely get more playing time at first base after his performance today. Wes Helms and Abraham Nunez are also in line for additional at-bats.

Bartolo Colon won his 12th straight start against the Rangers by allowing three runs in six innings on Saturday.
Colon, who left his last start with a biceps strain, was removed after 86 pitches today after he barely escaped a jam in the sixth. He allowed five hits, walked two and struck out six while improving to 4-0 this season. His 12 straight wins over one team ties a major league record set by Pedro Martinez against the Mariners.

Justin Morneau suffered a broken nose in the eighth inning of Saturday's game and is day-to-day.
Morneau was hit in the face by a thrown ball. The Twins can hardly afford to lose him with their offense already struggling mightily. He might be fine to play next week.

Standings
The graphics next to each team are called "sparklines.” They depict each team’s performance over the last month. Each "up" bar is a victory and a "down" bar is a loss. There are horizontal lines for home games and red bars represent games decided by two runs or less. "PWins" is short for Projected Wins, based on each team’s Run Differential, and is often a better measure of a team’s true strength. Other team graphs and stats can be found on our Team Page.
