Each "up" bar is a victory and a "down" bar is a loss. There are horizontal lines for home games and red bars represent games decided by two runs or less. "PWins" is short for Projected Wins, based on each team’s Run Differential, and is often a better measure of a team’s true strength. Other team graphs and stats can be found on our Team Page.American League East Pwins Diff BOS 6 4 .600 0.0 7 -1 Game of the DayThe usually reliable B.J. Ryan walked the bases loaded in the ninth, then surrendered a two-run double to pinch hitter Marcus Thames as Detroit rallied to beat the Blue Jays, 10-7. Earlier in the game, Magglio Ordonez hit a couple of key doubles, and Jason Grilli pitched three scoreless innings to keep Detroit in the game. DETROIT (10) VS TORONTO (7) - FINAL

"Right now it's literally 50-50," manager Bob Melvin said Saturday. Johnson could make one more rehab start and rejoin the Diamondbacks five days later. That would give the club more time to decide on who will stay in the rotation between Edgar Gonzalez and Micah Owings. Jason Jennings will go on the disabled list and miss at least two starts with elbow tendinitis. That an MRI revealed no ligament damage is good news. Fernando Nieve and Matt Albers are candidates to be called up to replace Jennings in the rotation. Barring a rainout on Sunday, the Astros would need a fifth starter on Monday. Chien-Ming Wang (hamstring) pitched five hitless innings in an extended spring training game on Saturday. Wang struck out six while throwing 35 of his 55 pitches for strikes. He'll make one more appearance, probably for Single-A Tampa on Thursday, before rejoining the Yankees. He'll likely make his season debut on April 24. Access THT’s stats here…
