Tom Glavine left Sunday's game because of a strained right hamstring.
If Glavine has to go on the disabled list, the Braves could turn right back to Chuck James, though that was something they were hoping to avoid. If they thought he'd miss just one start, they'd probably go to Jeff Bennett, who replaced him today.

Blue Jays activated LHP B.J. Ryan from the 15-day disabled list.
It'd be nice if the Jays would just once give some accurate information pertaining to Ryan. That they're bringing him back two or three appearances shy of their stated goal from the middle of the last week shows a definite concern about Jeremy Accardo's performance. Ryan is coming off a wild appearance for Single-A Dunedin and can't be counted on to be a shutdown closer yet. Still, he might get save chances immediately anyway. Fantasy leaguers might as well get him activated.

David Ross, on the DL with a back injury, will be out for a couple days with the flu.
Ross is currently making rehab starts at Triple-A Louisville. The team hopes he'll be ready to catch Tuesday when Matt Belisle makes his next rehab start.

Nationals activated outfielder Wily Mo Pena from the 15-day disabled list
He will be in the lineup for Sunday's game. Felipe Lopez, Willie Harris and Rob Mackowiak will all see fewer at-bats with Pena back.

Matt Albers will make a spot start against Toronto on Monday.
Albers has allowed only three hits in 6 1/3 innings out of the bullpen. He hasn't thrown more than 44 pitches in an appearance however and will probably be held to a limited pitch count. He's not a great option in AL-only leagues.

Bartolo Colon (strained oblique) has shown improvement, but has not begun throwing.
Colon should start a throwing program this week and will ride with the Sox on their upcoming road trip so team trainers can keep an eye on him.

Alex Cora (elbow) was able to take batting practice Saturday night.
Cora is recovering quickly and should be available for Sunday's game.

The Tigers announced that Armando Galarraga will be brought up to start in place of Dontrelle Willis.
Galarraga is 2-0 with a 2.25 ERA in two starts for Triple-A Toledo. It will probably be a one-and-done deal, unless something unexpected happens.

Wesley Wright will be unavailable for a few days because of a strained middle finger.
"I don't think it's anything serious," Wright said. "I'm not too worried about it right now until I hear something a little differently." Wright thinks he injured the finger by squeezing the ball to tight.

Standings
The graphics next to each team are called "sparklines.” They depict each team’s performance over the last month. Each "up" bar is a victory and a "down" bar is a loss. There are horizontal lines for home games and red bars represent games decided by two runs or less. "PWins" is short for Projected Wins, based on each team’s Run Differential, and is often a better measure of a team’s true strength. Other team graphs and stats can be found on our Team Page.
