When my oldest son was 3-4, we thought he might be left-handed, and I was overwhelmed with dreams of major league baseball success, where throwing from the left side means you can still make millions of dollars years after you should have retired. He turned out to be a righty and is better at football than baseball. The Yankees, meanwhile, need to jettison all these aging veterans and start a youth movement.
