@Sully: Oh, they’re there, off-panel, ready to snag the brass ring from the Phils. You just can’t see them due to THT’s frame dimensions. In fact, EVERYONE’S favorite team is there (Yeah, that’s it…)

The Red Sox aren’t part of this?  You really think that not only the Phillies should be favored over the Red Sox, but the Yankees are better as well?  Seems ridiculous to me.

Grant, as a Red Sox fan let me tell you my take on this:

I think what the Phillies have taken more than the Yankees and even the Sox is the perception that THEY are the team to play for if you want to win right now

Their rotation, their division and having a team that can but together a 7 game winning streak in October to get into the World Series makes them a more likely landing spot for October glory than either New York or Boston

That being said, I know a lot of Giants fans who are saying “Lee, Halladay, Hamels and Oswalt… you mean the guys we beat?”
