The Yankees are spending far too much money on aging veterans past their prime. They are due for a crash if they don’t start restocking their farm system, and quickly. Three more years for Jeter? Shortstops don’t age like fine wine…go ask Nomar, if you can find him.

Jorge is still a useful player.  The problem is he cannot stay healthy for an entire season, which is not surprising for a 38-year-old catcher.  There are a lot of players that would like to have Jorge’s shadow….
