Aaron Heilman, enigma
Posted by Dave Studeman
Stats takes a look at Aaron Heilman and tries to answer the question: how good is he? As many analysts have said, he does have some very good stuff. I particularly like what Stats does with whiff rates. But the real clue to Heilman's poor 2008 lies in his lefty/righty split data.
Dave was called a "national treasure" by Rob Neyer. Seriously. Comments about this article can be sent to him through the miracle of e-mail.
