And PROPS Too

We've added JC Bradbury's PrOPS (Predicted OPS, or On Base Plus Slugging Percentage) to our stats page. PrOPS uses a number of factors, such as a batter's batted ball, strikeout and home run rates, to predict his OPS. JC's research has found PrOPS to be about as useful as other major predictive stats.
You can read about PrOPS in JC's original article, as well as his follow-up article and the Hardball Times Annual 2006.
