Baseball’s Inventors

Not Abner Doubleday, not even Alexander Cartwright. According to this article by the eminent John Thorn, the real inventors of modern-day baseball were Adams, Wheaton and Wadsworth, with a nod to Cartwright. If you have any interest in baseball's history, this is a must.
