Fangraphs going wild

Fangraphs deserves a big shoutout as David continues to add new features to his statistical site. Now you can see how often each major league pitcher throws each type of pitch—and the average speed of each pitch type. For instance, 51% of Carlos Marmol's pitches were sliders last year (seen at the bottom of the page), a huge shift from his 2006 pattern.
