Get a summer job in baseball stats

Baseball Info Solutions is offering a paid internship for anyone interested in working with a baseball stats company for the summer. Here are the details:

Baseball Info Solutions is looking for a Research & Development intern for the summer of 2010. The intern will work out of our Coplay, PA office and will work closely with John Dewan and the BIS Analysts, supporting their research for publications and future products. The paid internship requires a variety of skills including (but not limited to): computer expertise, writing ability, and a passion for baseball.

Candidates must possess:
  • Knowledge of and familiarity with sabermetric research.
  • Proficiency working in Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel, is required. Experience with Access is preferred.
  • Programming ability in SQL. Basic knowledge of HTML, R, VB.net, ASP.net, and/or C# would be a plus.
