Misplaced Magic
Posted by Matthew NameeThe KC Star's Joe Posnanski was quite possibly the most optimistic person in the world when it came to the Royals' chances this spring. Hell, he got me fired up about the R's, and I predicted them to win the AL Central. Of course, two months later that pick looks pretty dumb. Kansas City's got the worst record in baseball, and Posnanski has given up.
What happened to the Royals? In his column on Tuesday, Posnanski explains: "Everything happened. Pestilence. Boils. Hail. MacDougal... On the bright side, nobody's pants have fallen down during a game."
Yet.
