Outfield Arms Stats

Posted by John Walsh
Here at the Hardball Times, we have analyzed Retrosheet data to evaluate outfield throwing and we publish our results from time to time on the site. For example, you can read about our evaluation of outfield arms in 2007 here.

Now, thanks to technical wiz Bryan Donovan, these outfield arms stats are available in our Stats section, for the years 2004-2007:

Outfield Arms Stats

This page is also linked on our stat pages under the "Stats Toolbox", over on the right-hand side.

So, now you can easily find, say, who had the worst throwing year of any outfielder during the last four seasons. Have fun.
