Rest in peace, Cliff Dapper

Clifford Roland Dapper died this week in California at the age of 91. He played professional baseball over three different decades and was a teammate of many Dodgers legends, including Carl Furillo, Don Newcombe and Duke Snider.
He had a spectacular cameo in the major leagues, served our country in World War II and was part of a curiosity when he was dealt for broadcaster Ernie Harwell.

Cliff Dapper lived a major league life. May we all live that long and memorably.
