Wichita State came out of the loser's bracket to win the MVC tournament, beating Southern Illinois twice Saturday. The win puts the Shockers in a good position to be awarded an NCAA regional (sites and brackets will be announced today on ESPN).
WSU's Drew Moffitt, who had 3 homers and 10 RBI on Friday, plus a homer in the final game yesterday, was the tourney MVP.
