Updates Galore
Posted by Dave Studeman
All of our stats and graphs, including Win Shares, have been updated with information through Friday's games. Interesting Win Shares stat: San Diego 2B Mark Loretta is leading the National League in fielding Win Shares. The fact that he leads the league in double plays is key, though he has started more double plays than he has turned.
Speaking of Win Shares, Bryan Donovan has provided a tremendous service on his blog. You can look up and sort 2004 Win Shares in a table that he created on his blog. His Win Shares have not been updated to today's version, but he will hopefully get to that soon.
Dave was called a "national treasure" by Rob Neyer. Seriously. Comments about this article can be sent to him through the miracle of e-mail.
