Thursday, April 17, 2008Dan FoxAnother former THT writer, Dan Fox, has been hired by the Pittsburgh Pirates to be their Director of Baseball Systems Development. Dan has written for Baseball Prospectus the last two years, but he contributed to THT for a year before that, so we take a little bit of pride in Dan's success. By my count, that makes at least five one-time regular THT writers who have worked for major league teams. Miguel Tejada is 33, not 31.This isn't exactly shocking news, but Miguel Tejada acknowledged an age discrepancy today that he is actually two years older than his date of birth listed in media guides.
