Season - And Perhaps Career - Over for SmoltzTwo days following his return to the Atlanta bullpen, it is being announced that Smoltz will likely undergo season-ending surgery on his right shoulder. A press conference is scheduled for 11:30 AM ET. On my Disabled List Informer site, I had been talking for weeks about how this was a bad situation for Smoltz.
