Tuesday, July 08, 2008Duchscherer looking for a long-term dealPosted by Bryan TsaoNewly minted two-time All Star Justin Duchscherer is looking for a three-year extension. Amazingly, the A's still own two arbitration years on him, and even though as a fan it'd be awesome to lock up and take care of the guy who went from under the radar starting prospect to middle relief ace to All Star starter, as an analyst I think the A's should definitely go year to year with a guy who hasn't pitched starter's innings in a few years and has a long injury history.
