New blog: Evaluating Baseball’s Managers

Posted by Chris Jaffe
To anyone who cares, I just started my own blog based on my upcoming book, "Evaluating Baseball's Managers, 1876-2008". Original thinker that I am, the blog is called Evaluating Baseball's Managers.

The blog's opening statement to the world is here.

It's primarily to create awareness for my new book (hence the unoriginal title). It won't interfere with my regular column here, but the stuff I'd normally post at THT Live will likely go there. Hopefully, I can do it a bit more often than I post those pieces.

Hope you like. Here's goes nothing.

History instructor by day, statnerd by night, Chris Jaffe leads one of the most exciting double lives imaginable; with the exception of every other double life possible to imagine. Despite his lack of comic-book-hero-worthiness, Chris enjoys farting around with this stuff. His new book, Evaluating Baseball's Managers is available for order. Chris welcomes responses to his articles via e-mail.
