Hunter Pence left Sunday's game in the fourth inning with a right wrist injury.
Luke Scott replaced him against the Pirates. If Pence needs to miss some time, Chris Burke would likely play regularly in center field.

Hanley Ramirez left Sunday's game in the first inning with a left shoulder subluxation.
Ramirez has a history of left shoulder troubles and might need offseason surgery to tighten up the socket one of these years. He's day-to-day now.

Roy Oswalt could miss his next scheduled start Wednesday against the Los Angeles Dodgers after leaving Friday's game against Pittsburgh in the seventh inning with an upper chest strain.
"I'll know more (today) but (Saturday) I didn't feel too great," he said. "Every time I try to move I can feel it. At the most I'll miss one start and then I'll be ready, for sure." He played catch for a few minutes Saturday and plans to throw at a longer distance Sunday.

Sammy Sosa could play Sunday after leaving Saturday's game following a beaning.
Sosa exited in the third against the Rangers after a Cliff Lee pitch glanced off his shoulder and hit him on the left side of the head. Frank Catalanotto replaced him against the Indians.

Willie Harris went 6-for-6 with six RBI and four runs scored as the Braves walloped the Cardinals 14-6.
Harris is just the second Atlanta Brave to go 6-for-6, joining Felix Milan (1970). He entered the day with a .152 average and no RBI in 47 at-bats this month. In the grand scheme of things, the big game might have been a bad thing for the Braves, as it will cause Bobby Cox to keep sticking with him for at least a couple of more weeks. The Braves would probably be better off playing Matt Diaz against righthanders and should be seeking a left fielder in trade.

Curt Schilling fanned six in three scoreless innings Saturday in his rehab start for Triple-A Pawtucket.
Schilling allowed two hits, walked none and threw 32 of his 40 pitches for strikes before departing. He's expected to pitch for Pawtucket again on Thursday and rejoin the Red Sox after that.

X-rays on Carl Crawford's left ankle were negative, but he's likely to miss a couple of games with a sprain.
The Rays are off Monday, so it would make sense to rest Crawford until Tuesday for the series opener against the Orioles. Jonny Gomes started in left field today.

An MRI on David Ortiz's left shoulder came back negative. The Red Sox are calling him day-to-day with a strain.
Ortiz was held out of Saturday's lineup, and didn't start today. Manny Ramirez was Boston's DH.

Standings
The graphics next to each team are called "sparklines.” They depict each team’s performance over the last month. Each "up" bar is a victory and a "down" bar is a loss. There are horizontal lines for home games and red bars represent games decided by two runs or less. "PWins" is short for Projected Wins, based on each team’s Run Differential, and is often a better measure of a team’s true strength. Other team graphs and stats can be found on our Team Page.
