ail-safe
Reserve clause
Etches infinities on players’
Eyelids, clawing through decades
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
And dog days, coring baseball’s living bones,
Gutting what goodwill remains, leaving
Enslaved boys no choice but listen:
No one – no team,
no boss, nobody –
Controls
You.
