Monday, February 16, 2009Full CircleThough they didn't win a lot of games that season, 1987 was an interesting year to be a Braves fan. A trade involving John Smoltz gave us something to talk about, a shaky Tom Glavine took the hill a handful of times, and an aging but still famous Ken Griffey patrolled left field. In other words, it was exactly like 2009 is shaping up to be.Hopefully Chuck Tanner will manage to deploy these strategic assets wisely. If not, hey, at least Skip, Pete, and Billy Sample will keep us entertained on the Superstation. Kill me now. Posted by Craig Calcaterra at 9:48am Comments

Come on Craig. Have some faith. I can’t pretend to be optimistic if you’re just gonna shut everything down on me.
