Tuesday, January 13, 2009Great Moments in GenericaI was on youth bowling leagues for 13 years, and even then I never saw patches this bad before.I know that teams are looking to cut costs, but delegating graphic design to a team of monkeys who kinda know how to use MS Paint is no way to put the franchise's best foot forward. Here’s the worst part of all—the Mets actually commissioned a very nice logo, but it’s only being used on stadium-sold merchandise because corporate logos can’t be on uniform patches. But, as Paul Lukas of ESPN’s Uni Watch says, why not just chop off the logo on top? Presto! Fantastic patch! http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3257/3174470956_e547c97ba0_o.png @#$%^ Mets… Posted 01/13 at 01:54 PM
