Friday, October 23, 2009My Morning In ExileThings I wrote while wondering whether I am the only attorney in Columbus, Ohio who is listening to "Protect Ya Neck" on his iPod right now. Maybe this guy is . . .That's right: I'm all OVER 16 year-old hip-hop. Next year I may listen to some new stuff by some guy called the Notorious R.B.I or whatever his name is . . . If the Dodgers/McCourt story becomes a movie it’s a good bet that Kevin Costner and Rene Russo would star as Frank and Jamie. Posted 10/23 at 12:57 PM

I love the NBC commenter confusing Roy and Matt. But any AL team who bids on Holliday better understand what they are getting. Just call anyone who watched Oakland play April through June this year. Now, back to my gin and juice. Posted 10/23 at 01:40 PM

Do the Mets need a closer? I’m sure Moore would be willing to trade Soria straight up for Franceour. That’s assuming Franceour would be willing to sign a 4-year extension at $15 mil per. He’s obviously the right-handed power hitter the Royals need. And he was a Brave, which means he’s overqualfied? Excuse me while I go beat my head against the wall. Posted 10/23 at 02:41 PM

Oh, I know he is. I actually used to work with him. He’s the baddest mofo who every represented rural electrical cooperatives. Posted 10/23 at 02:46 PM

Is it my imagination or is ShysterBall being tapped by MLB spies? I swear the ad in the left margin is for Harrah’s Kansas City (rates from $59/night) Is this because of my Joba jibe from this morning? Honest, I just wanted him in the Dipsy Dumpster for a while, and Hal needn’t think I will finance that. Off to gin and juice with APBA guy. Posted 10/23 at 03:16 PM

Craig, that’s good stuff man. Last week I was wondering if I was the only CPA listening to DMX.
