Btw, that book about Manny is pretty good—Jean Rhodes, the co-author, is a professor in my doctoral program and she hired me to help her write a few chapters. Pretty interesting to learn more about Manny from the people who have known him since he was a kid, to hear what kind of guy he was as a teenager. Manny wins again. I love how Manny’s cloud still hangs over the Red Sox. Hey, they’re not bitter though.
