Programming Note

Hey all -- sorry, but there's no ATH this morning. I got back from my weekend in WV later than I had planned last night, other stuff took precedence, and before I knew it, it was late and I just wasn't able to get to the games. Apologies.

There will be normal blogging otherwise today, and ATH will return tomorrow. In the meantime, here is a swell picture of my son fishing in WV while wearing a Cubs hat.

Thanks, Rabbit.  Given how bald and pasty and generally icky I am, however, full credit has to go to the missus.

Got to love the views and nature you find in WV.

Junior Shyster clearly has his mom’s hair.

Low blow, Rob.  True, but low all the same.

I can tolerate not having ATH for a day, but I can’t tolerate the announcement not being headed And That Didn’t Happen.

Given it’s a Cubs hat (which we knew before and he IS adorable), I’m going to guess that the fish came up to his bat, swam around for a bit, maybe even let him hook it, and then broke his pole and decided to hang out in the water for 101 years or so.

I was going to try to make a health reform analogy to a Cubs hat and fishing pole, but I’m assuming that some pundit somewhere has already tried it.

You’re forgiven for the lack of ATH.  And I’m glad you had a great weekend.
