Ah, good ol’ Richie. Ask almost anyone from the ‘84 Cubs and they’ll tell you he was great to have on the roster for comic relief, etc.
It’s not every GM that understands the value of burning a roster spot for comic relief, but then not every GM can be Dallas Green.
