Buy Your Saberseminar Tickets!

sabsem_740_fixedIf you visit this site and/or FanGraphs on a regular basis, you may be familiar with Saberseminar. It is, in my humble opinion, the best event on the sabermetric calendar each year.

The event is held over an August weekend at Boston University, and leading into the event FanGraphs organizes a meetup to informally kick off the weekend. It’s always a fantastic time, and each year I leave having met great new people and learned a ton of new things about baseball and baseball analysis. And the best part is that all the proceeds go to charity. The event has raised thousands of dollars for The Jimmy Fund, and this year has added a second charitable organization, The Angioma Alliance. I really can’t say enough about this event.

Tickets for this year’s weekend are now on sale. It will be held Aug. 13-14. Speakers haven’t been announced yet, but I know that co-organizers Dan Brooks and Chuck Korb are working to put together another awesome program. So head on over to the site and get your tickets before the event sells out, which it does every year.

I’ve got my ticket already, and I hope to see you there!

This is precisely what Chloé has created with the Faye: the Faye has a very luxe-bohemian vibe that has become easily recognizable as a Chloé bag.
