Doing It For Bartolo Comes to THT!

Named after rotund and resolute pitcher Bartolo Colon, Doing It For Bartolo is a new-ish podcast that is now being run in conjunction with The Hardball Times. The podcast is run by Joon Lee. Recently named one of the 75 best Twitter follows in Boston sports, Joon is a Cornell University student who has already written in a bevy of places, including here at THT. We’re very excited to be partnering with Joon to bring you his podcast.

While the podcast is not strictly about baseball, we still feel that it will be in the wheelhouse of THT readers. Each episode is thoughtfully crafted, and will feature a mix of topics, ranging from baseball to television and several other pop culture and sports outlets. Given his keen interest in journalism, many of the episodes will feature sports journalists. You can read more about the podcast and Joon’s inspirations in his introductory post.

There have been five episodes published before now, and the first episode here at THT just went live. You can view all of the episodes on the podcast’s landing page, which you can also access from the top nav bar, under “Articles” and then “Podcasts.” You can also access both the latest episode and all episodes via the sidebar on the right side of each page on the site.

One question you might have is what has become of our previous podcast, Stealing Home. Unfortunately, nothing lasts forever, and for the foreseeable future, Stealing Home will be dormant. In its stead, Doing It For Bartolo steps into the podcast breach. We hope you will give it the same warm welcome that you gave to Stealing Home.
