Don’t blow it!

I got invited to go to the Red Sox game today with a bunch of people from Sons of Sam Horn. The game was a blast, but I did notice one weird thing: Every time John Danks issued a walk (three in all), Toby Hall, the catcher, would come up and talk to him for a minute. The third time, the pitching coach got into the conference too.

That third time I can understand actually, as it was Danks’ last inning and that walk loaded the bases with just one out. But the first two weren’t all that special, so why was Danks getting so much attention? Is he really that combustible?
