Yesterday was major league baseball draft day. Baseball Analysts provided in-depth coverage with a preview, live blog and summary, John Sickels covered the draft throughout the day, and Baseball America, the grandfather of draft coverage, provided live blogging and a wealth of background info.

Major League Baseball also provided its best coverage yet, and the Hardball Times will add its own perspective tomorrow. Wow! Not too long ago, you had to wait two weeks for the latest issue of Baseball America to arrive in the mail to learn who was drafted after the first round.
