RZR Averages

I added something new to our Team Stats this morning. At the bottom of the page, you can now find positional averages for Revised Zone Ratings so you can more easily evaluate individual fielders. For instance, Scott Rolen’s .941 RZR at third base is a lot more impressive when compared to the average third baseman (.729) than center fielder (.939).

Speaking of which, Wladimir Balentien evidently didn’t field a ball in his zone last night, and the Mariners’ outfield RZR is no longer a perfect 1.000. Bummer.

Dave Studeman was called a "national treasure" by Rob Neyer. Seriously. Follow his sporadic tweets @dastudes.
