Brandon Webb won his sixth straight start yesterday, the 37th pitcher since 1956 to make it that far, according to Baseball Reference’s Stat of the day. You can find the full list of pitchers in the post, as well as a reminder of Andy Hawkins’ tremendous start in 1985, when he won his first ten. No other pitcher had more than eight.
