Tehre may be a flaw in the methodology here.  A’s/Mets was a one run game tied in the ninth with two outs on a single and won in the 13th.

Nats/Sox was tied in the ninth on a two out, three run, pinch hit homer, tied again in the tenth on a WP after the Nats took the lead on a homer and tied again in the 13th on a two out solo HR then finally won in the 14th.  Not sure how A’s/Mets was more exciting then that.
