Vote for the 2016 SABR Analytics Conference Research Awards!

The good folks at the Society of American Baseball Research have chosen the finalists for their 2016 Analytic Conference Research Awards. The Hardball Times is once again flattered to have the most pieces nominated, and also be the only blog with nominees in each category. It speaks to the great writers we have here at THT, and hopefully the future will bring more of the same.

Because SABR believes in democracy, they gave you the power to select the nominees, and have now given you the power to choose the winners. What follows is a script written entirely be SABR, which I have pasted verbatim. At the bottom, you have your chance to vote. There is also a link optimized for mobile users. As always, do not feel any pressure to vote for THT pieces, all of the nominated pieces are excellent!

Here’s your chance to vote for the 2016 SABR Analytics Conference Research Award winners.

The SABR Analytics Conference Research Awards will recognize baseball researchers who have completed the best work of original analysis or commentary during the preceding calendar year. Nominations were solicited by representatives from SABR, Baseball Prospectus, FanGraphs, The Hardball Times, and Beyond the Box Score.
