TUCK! sez: RIP, Mr. Harwell

As an aging Red sox fan, I hear a lot about when Curt Gowdy called games for my favorite team, but Ken Coleman is never mentioned.

I guess he is not as famous as Harwell, Gowdy, Scully, or others, but he was to me, when I sat up nights as a boy listening to his distinctive voice, praying for a Yaz home run!

I’m sure I’m not the only one with memories of long gone announcers who didn’t get a chance at the brass ring of immortality, but we still remember them, and are grateful. God Bless you all, for the hours of pleasure you gave to us baseball fans. Thanks!
